About us

A wild bird rescue rooted in Warrington

What started with one injured bird in a Warrington garden has grown into a full-time rescue and a community of thousands.

A small wild bird being gently held

We're a wild bird rescue and rehabilitation service based in Warrington, Cheshire. We care for injured and orphaned birds at every life stage — eggs, nestlings, fledglings and adults — and our goal is always the same: a healthy release back to the wild.

You may know us as Warrington Wild Bird Rescue. We've renamed to Warrington Bird Rehab to better reflect what the work actually is: hands-on, long-haul rehabilitation, not just rescue.

The rescue is run by [Rehabber's name], full-time, alongside a brilliant community of 6,400+ supporters on Facebook who share advice, donate, and help spread the word.
